Welding is a critical part of what we do, and this role plays a key part in keeping production moving and quality high. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands welding, leads from the floor, and wants to be part of a growing, fast-paced environment. While strong welding knowledge is required, this role is focused on leading the team, supporting production, and providing technical guidance.

What You’ll Be Doing A Day in the Life

  • Lead and support welding and fabrication team members on a daily basis
  • Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and meets quality standards
  • Act as the go-to resource for welding processes, prints, and technical questions
  • Coordinate workflow with Operations, Scheduling, and Engineering
  • Monitor labor, identify bottlenecks, and keep production moving
  • Drive improvements in weld quality, consistency, and efficiency
  • Support training and development of welders across skill levels
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production or quality issues

What Success Looks Like

  • Production flows smoothly with minimal disruptions
  • Team members are trained, supported, and working efficiently
  • Issues are identified early and resolved quickly
  • Continuous improvements are being made across welding processes

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a welding or fabrication environment
  • 5+ years of hands-on welding experience (MIG/TIG – steel, aluminum, stainless)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret prints and weld symbols
  • Proven ability to lead teams, make decisions, and hold others accountable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on shop environment
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and Microsoft Office
  • AWS certifications or formal training a plus
